1 DAY – TBILISI
Arrival late night to Tbilisi Airport; Meeting at the airport; Transfer to the hotel.
Sightseeng tour
After breakfast – a walk in Tbilisi, accompanied by our guide. The old town still holds a unique identity, remaining a symbol of tolerance, multi-ethnicity and symbiosis of different cultures. Cobblestone-paved streets will lead you to a district of sulfur baths famous for their healing properties.
Passing along colorful houses with carved balconies you come to where urban life has been in full swing for a century and half now. All this time the quiet life of the good people of Tbilisi has been guarded by formidable Narikala fortress that once presented a single complex with walls and towers encircling the city. All the variety of eclectic architecture of Tbilisi from ancient basilica of Anchiskhati to modern Sameba cathedral – “champion” both in size and richness of decoration will be unfolded before your eyes.
One of the most picturesque places of the Georgian capital – “flea market” under the Dry Bridge – keeps the memory of several generations. Varied antique items, antique porcelain, books and vinyl records are sold alongside a real open air gallery. In a cozy square one can buy works by Georgian artists, colourful gifts and jewelry.

2 DAY – MTSKETA – BORJOMI – AKHALTSIKHE
After breakfast – The ancient capital of Georgia – Mtskheta changed this title back in the V century to the status of a religious center, becoming “Georgian Jerusalem”. Its monuments are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. When seeing the Jvari Church one will not question reasons behind this monument of the VI century being recognized as a masterpiece of world architecture. He stands on top of the mountain, which offers stunning views of the confluence of the Rivers Mtkvari and Aragvi, surroundings of Mtskheta and peaks of the Greater Caucasus.
The next stop is Svetitskhoveli Cathedral of Mtskheta. Richly decorated cathedral of the XI century is not just a symbol of the Golden Age of Georgia. The history of its construction is associated with many legends. Walls of the Cathedral guard not one sacred relic, the most important of which – the tunic of the Christ – is buried at the foundation of the Cathedral.
The next stop will be the famous spa resort of Borjomi that we will reach passing through the picturesque gorge. Walk in the park, which flows seamlessly into Europe’s largest nature reserve, will be crowned with tasting of famous mineral water “Borjomi” that wells out here directly of the ground.
We drive to visit Vardzia – the magnificent cave town of the Golden Age. The cave complex stretching over half a kilometer once consisted of some 3000 caves and was one of the best examples of Georgia’s renaissance. It’s got a church hewn out in rock with amazing 12th century frescos. The complex also includes dwellings quarters, small hall-type churches, refectories, wine cellars, etc. On the way to Vardzia we will also visit Khertvisi fortress.
Overnight in Akhaltsikhe.
3 DAY – AKHALTSIKHE – UPPER ADJARA – BATUMI
Breakfast at hotel. Moving through a mountain pass in Goderdzi upper Adjara.
Green Lake, the village Khulo, village Keda. We will drive through by Wine Route – Village Valio – familiarize with traditional technologies of making wine and lifestyle of the inhabitants of the Upper Adjara.
Dinner in a traditional family Adjarian.
Departure to Batumi. On the way visit the stone bridge Tamara, waterfall Mahuntseti.
Overnight in Batumi.
4-5 DAY – BATUMI (free time at Black Sea.)

6 DAY – BATUMI – KUTAISI – ZUGDIDI

On the way visit to Kutaisi, second largest city in Georgia.
one of the oldest urban settlement in Georgia.
Visit of the Bagrati Cathedral (XI c, UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Gelati Monastery (XII c). Visit of Prometheus cave.
The next stop is the city Zugdidi visit objekt one of the famous Georgian dukes’ – Dadiani palace (closed on Mondays).

7 DAY – ZUGDIDI – Svaneti capital “MESTIA”
Breakfast at hotel.
Afterwards it’s time to get ready for the most exciting part of your trip – a journey to Svaneti, the region of the highest mountains and glaciers and the most abiding ancient traditions. En route visit Enguri hydro-electric power palm.
A travel to Svaneti is an experience for life. Hardly anything has changed there for the last few centuries.
Upper Svaneti (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is famous for its medieval watchtowers, snow-capped peaks, icy waterfalls, beautiful nature and ancient traditions. The village of Ushguli, the highest permanently inhabited settlement in Europe, is sure to be the highlight of your trip.
Lunch at the waterfall.
Visiting villages Latali and Becho, walk to the foot of Mount Ushba.
Visiting the house-museums Hergiani and Margiani in Mestia.
Visit of the National Museum.
Free time in Mestia.
Dinner and Overnight in Mestia
8 DAY – USHGULI – MESTIA
Breakfast in the Hotel. Driving to Usguli (2200 m, UNESCO world heritage site). On the way visit the Tower of Love.
The village is located at the foot of Mount Shkhara (5068 m). Visit of the Lamria Church (IX-X c). free time in Ushguli.
Drive back to Mestia. Dinner and overnight in Mestia.
9 DAY – MESTIA – MARTVILI – GORI

Martvili canyons – Boating in the canyons

10 DAY – GORI – UPLISTSIKHE – TBILISI

Today we drive the along central part of the country – Kartli, you shall look at an ancient cave town, Uplistsikhe. (Optional)
Return to Tbilisi. Free time.
Transfer to the airport.
